About Angela
Visual Storyteller, One Layer at a Time.
Creating a powerful image is not just about the tools you use or camera you have, it begins with a deep curiosity and passion to express an idea and feeling inside yourself to show the world.

Upon Graduating with Honors (Magna Cum Laude) from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Study, I landed my first job as a Graphic Designer for a print company in downtown Buffalo. During this time I was also freelancing as a web designer, coding websites for local musicians, churches and artists as well as recording and editing videos.
In 2006, I started contributing to microstock agencies as a way to showcase my photography to a larger audience and to feed my passion professionally. In 2007, I left my job and became a full-time freelance professional.
Currently, I photograph families in the Buffalo area and also continue to shoot photography for stock agencies, most notably Stocksy United. I also sell digital files on Etsy to help other photographers with backdrops, mockups and overlays.
Creating visual art, whether it is through the viewfinder or on a computer screen, has always been a part of my lifestyle. I feel blessed that I can make a living doing what I love every day and thank God for my successes.

I often wonder what my neighbors or pedestrians are thinking when I am outside photographing one of my unusual ideas. I know they do not see the picture I've already created in my mind, but it all comes together in the end so I don’t mind any curiosities or confusion.
